“Our grounds include Piet Oudolf inspired perennial beds, over 30 raised vegetable beds, an allotment garden, over a kilometre of new English fruit and nut hedgerows and shelter belt, a summer wildflower meadow, a spring bulb meadow and an orchard interspersed with heritage trees, venerable oaks and walnuts. There isn’t a straight edge or level plain in our small holding. Blands have been instrumental both in helping us achieve sympathetically our overall design objectives including significant soft and hard landscaping, and also our particular maintenance requirements including composting processes, and achieving significant growth in wildlife activity supporting in particular, our local barn owls. Blands have worked with us for a number of years and we highly value their team and it’s specialist expertise and wide experience. We didn't believe part of our land could support a wildflower meadow, but it has!”
